Helpful notes
Questions before you make?
Do I need previous clay experience?
No. Beginner classes explain the essential movements and tools from the beginning, while intermediate and advanced listings identify the skills they assume.
What clay should I use at home?
Use the clay named in your class listing whenever possible. A local ceramic supplier can advise on a compatible stoneware body and firing temperature.
Are online classes live?
Online listings clearly state their format. Lesson-based classes are designed for self-paced viewing, while studio listings include scheduled in-person instruction.
Do classes include firing?
Firing arrangements vary by class and location. Read the individual listing and contact us before enrolling if firing is important to your project.
Which tools do I need?
Every listing includes a materials overview. Most foundations use a board, rib, sponge, slip, and a small selection of shaping tools.
Can I save a class for later?
Select Follow class in the catalog. Saved IDs stay in your browser and appear on the Fallows page until you remove them.
Can I change or cancel an enrollment?
Contact the studio as early as possible. Requests are reviewed under the cancellation terms for the specific class.
How can I ask for an accessibility adjustment?
Use the contact form to describe what would support your participation. We will discuss practical options privately and respectfully.
